Our intervention aims to promote the empowerment of people and institutions that participate in the public and social policy process throughout its entire cycle - from design, planning, and programming, through implementation and monitoring, to evaluation and communication.
We pursue our goals by developing training courses, projects to support the development of organizations and moments of public and social policy knowledge disclosure and sharing. Recently we have extended our scope of action to supporting the public policies in regarding to: planning, design and evaluation.
Our activities include the participation of professors and researchers from Iscte, technicians and leaders from other associated entities and other specialists.
As most of our activities are directed to Portuguese speaking stakeholders, the English version of the site is reduced to activities that might be understood by the English-speaking community. We also organise series of seminars and conferences but mostly using the local language. For a full perception of our activity visit https://ipps.iscte-iul.pt/pt.
